I am a proud 26 year old as I write this. I think after 25 the aging process has got a lot easier and I feel ok about getting old. My birthday was not spectacular. I did not plan anything huge. On the night of my birthday Sean and I went out to dinner in Stone [a little town near me] and it was lovely. A little tapas place, small, quiet and as my birthday was on a Thursday night, there was just us two in. Food was gorgeous and then Sean and I went to the cinema and saw Quantum of Solace. It was a nice night.
On Friday night Sean and I had a movie sofa night which was nice and on Saturday day he treated me to a spree in PRIMARK! I love my boy!
On the Saturday night I went to a suprise meal that my sisters had organised for me at an Indian Restaurant in Wolverhampton. It was really great, my mum and aunty were also there, food and company were excellent. I had a really nice evening.
Finally on Sunday we went to our ice cream farm [despite it being november and cold] and enjoyed home made ice cream yum yum!
It has been a couple of weeks since my birthday and I am getting on ok. It is cold but I am surviving it. Something really horrifying though - since the change of the seasons, at school we have been told that about 8 kids grandads have died in the last three weeks. Isn't that awful?
I need to stop being stingy and put the heating on in my house. Gas bills are huge though! Meh - enough about the credit crunch.
In happy news I was in lieu this afternoon and I treated myself to a cheese and onion pasty from greggs LOL.
